1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Financial Roadmap at financialroadmap.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Financial Roadmap is a financial planning tool that helps users project their financial future based on income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. The Service includes:

  • Financial projection calculations
  • Investment growth simulations
  • Monte Carlo probability analysis (premium feature)
  • Progress tracking
  • Plan comparison tools (premium feature)

3. Account Registration

To save your financial plans and access premium features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

Basic features are available for free, including financial projections with limited plan items.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price changes take effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. Financial Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The Service is for informational and educational purposes only.

ALL FIGURES, CALCULATIONS, AND RESULTS DISPLAYED BY THE SERVICE ARE PROJECTIONS ONLY. NO RIGHTS OR CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES CAN BE DERIVED FROM THESE PROJECTIONS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ACCURACY OR INACCURACY.

  • We are not financial advisors, and the Service does not constitute financial advice
  • All projections are hypothetical illustrations based on user-provided assumptions and historical data that may not reflect future results
  • Investment returns are not guaranteed and involve risk of loss
  • Monte Carlo simulations show statistical probabilities, not predictions or guarantees

We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculations, projections, or results. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for your financial decisions. By using the Service, you expressly waive any right to claim damages based on projections or calculations provided by the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Financial Roadmap and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Your financial data remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for providing the Service.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINANCIAL ROADMAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Financial losses resulting from reliance on projections, calculations, or any other output of the Service
  • Damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading projections or calculations

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO RIGHTS OR CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND CAN BE DERIVED FROM THE PROJECTIONS, CALCULATIONS, OR OTHER OUTPUTS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE, WHETHER SUCH PROJECTIONS PROVE TO BE ACCURATE OR INACCURATE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Financial Roadmap from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
